Primary Care

Ohio State Total Health and Wellness offers you access to a comprehensive primary care team. Nurse practitioners, midwives, pharmacists, mental health providers and dietitians are available to help you manage chronic conditions, treat acute concerns and achieve your health and wellness goals.

Primary care providers diagnose and manage a wide range of health issues, including:

  • General health concerns such as high blood pressure, high blood sugar and breathing problems such as asthma or COPD
  • Acute health conditions such as cough, colds, sprains and injuries
  • Immunizations
  • Preventive health and wellness exams for children and adults
  • Referrals to specialists
  • Weight management
  • Medication-assisted treatment program
  • Chronic care management

 

Pediatric Care

Our providers are dedicated to the health and well-being of infants, children and adolescents from birth to 18 years of age, offering:

  • Complete annual, back-to-school and sports physicals
  • Newborn care
  • Preventative medical care for children of all ages, including vaccines/shots
  • Treatment of acute health conditions such as cough, colds, sprains and strains
  • Treatment of chronic health conditions such as asthma and allergies
  • Referral to Behavioral Health for stress, anxiety and depression
  • Referral for diagnostic testing
  • On-site health education for nutrition and activity promotion

Ohio State East Hospital Location Hours

Monday and Tuesday:
8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Wednesday through Friday:
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
